KBK-是德语kombiniertkran的缩写，意思是组合式起重机。它起源于欧洲，于20世纪90年代引入中国。KBK履带式起重机在2000年得到广泛应用后，被称为柔性组合起重机。主要替代2吨以下的家用起重机，目前在中国作为2吨以下起重机的代理。因此在国内有很多制造商，所以产品质量和安装服务质量都各有不同。

KBK主要由轨道、悬挂装置、行走小车、提升装置和一些功能部件组成。所有模块均为标准组件，可根据工厂需要自由组装。
